Hello Everyone!
We have a lot of very exciting things happening here at Carmen Mackey Designs. The first thing would be the re-vamp of our blog! This has been a long time coming. We are having so much fun coming up with new ideas and content to share will all of you, and we hope you are enjoying it just as much! Our official posting schedule will be the 1st and 15th of every month. This shop update will replace our blog for the 1st of next month.

Covid-19 Update
This year has definitely been a rollercoaster! We know that everyone’s situation is different, and our hearts go out to anyone that is struggling or that has lost a loved one.
We are finding that new problems and obstacles are popping up every day, and I’m sure most of you can relate in your own lives.
The biggest obstacle that we have been facing, would be the delay of products and limited stock. We are finding that vendors still cannot fill at full capacity because of Covid-19 and therefore are limited in their production. The interior design world has seen a record-breaking boost in sales, and we don’t foresee this to slow down anytime soon. Please rest assured knowing that this issue is getting better as time goes on and as our vendors are learning to adapt to an unexpected rise in business. Every business in the interior design industry is facing this exact problem right now.
We have implemented several new strategies to make sure that we are showing you reliable products and are being as knowledgeable and honest about lead times as possible.
For Safety, we have certain protocols in place to ensure we are keeping everyone around us safe. This includes wearing a mask into a client’s home, washing our hands, and offering virtual meeting options. If there is anything we can do to make you feel safe, please do not hesitate to let us know.
We want to thank all of our wonderful clientele and followers for being so understanding as we navigate through these unexpected circumstances. We are very blessed to have such wonderful clients, and we truly appreciate you!
New Visuals
We are taking new learning courses to better our skills in sketch-up and related products. If you don’t know what that means, that okay. It just means that we are able to better present our vision and ideas to our clients! This is very exciting for us, as we expect this to aid us in growing as a company; and in return will be able to come up with better more creative designs for our clients.

One of our goals before the new year is to step up our Pinterest game. It’s a great way to connect with our followers and show you what we’re into at the same time! We’ve added plenty of new things, so make sure to check it out here.
We’ve also added a new Fall 2020 board that showcases trends that we love at the moment. You can take a look at that here. Make sure to follow, as we will continuously be adding new pins for inspiration!

Christmas Decorating
If you are interested in having us help you decorate for Christmas this year, we still have a few slots open. We only take on limited Christmas projects every year and our cutoff deadline is October 31st, so make sure you schedule your holiday decorating consultation as soon as possible!

Black Friday
Our Black Friday sale will run Monday, Nov. 23rd – Friday, Nov. 27th. You must schedule a consultation between these dates to be locked in for the special sale that will be revealed the week before!
